החוויה האימרסיבית “פירוא” היא סרט תיעודי במציאות מדומה (VR) שמזמין אתכם למסע רב-חושי בעקבות נהר הירדן – הנהר המקודש ללמעלה ממחצית האנושות, שאיבד יותר מ-90% מזרימתו ההיסטורית. החוויה משלבת אלמנטים אינטראקטיביים, סאונד מרחבי ועולמות תלת-ממדיים שלוקחים את המשתתפים למסע בזמן.
“פֵּרוּא” בעברית פירושו שיקום והקמה מחודשת של בתי גידול טבעיים (בלועזית: Rewilding). החוויה משחזרת זיכרון אקולוגי עמוק של נהר פרה-היסטורי ומספרת סיפור אקלימי עוצמתי ומשותף.
ECHOES OF THE JORDAN is an interactive VR experience that transports participants into a prehistoric riverbed, where spatial soundscapes, volumetric imagery, and subtle haptic feedback immerse you in every ripple, rustle, and roar of the Jordan River through deep time.
This immersive documentary weaves ecological memory, archaeological discovery, and climate storytelling into a cohesive multi-sensory journey. At the crossroads of innovative technologies, interactive digital art, and immersive nature narratives, it urges individuals and communities to confront the pressing sustainability challenges of climate change, biodiversity loss, and the imperative of rewilding.
The Israeli premiere of the experience took place in November 2025 at the Jerusalem International Animation Festival.

״פירוא״ היא חוויה אינטראקטיבית במציאות מדומה, העוקבת אחר סיפורו של הירדן, נהר הניצב בקו החזית של משבר האקלים ושל הסכסוך במזרח התיכון. המשתתפים מתחילים את מסעם מתחת לאדמה ופוגשים במי הנהר החושפים זיכרון בן עשרים מיליון שנה — מהיווצרותו של השבר הסורי־אפריקאי ועד היום.
המים מובילים אותם אל נקודת מפגש של בעלי־חיים מאפריקה, מאירופה ומאסיה, שחיו לאורך הירדן במשך אלפי שנים. במירוץ אל ההווה, פוגשים המשתתפים את המציאות של ימינו ועומדים בפני בחירה שתשנה את עתיד הנהר לתמיד.
“ECHOES OF THE JORDAN" is an immersive VR documentary that chronicles the life and decline of one of the world's most sacred rivers.
Through a multi-sense spatial experience, participants will journey through the river's rich past and its uncertain future Participants find themselves in an underground aquifer, where a soft blue glow—the twenty-million-year-old memory of a single drop of water—guides them past seismic upheavals, through lush prehistoric wetlands, and into the bustling crossroads once roamed by animals from Africa, Europe, and Asia.
Racing toward the present, participants confront the river’s stark new reality—and a choice that will shape its course. “Echoes of the Jordan” immerses participants in a story of revival, where every ripple echoes the river’s wild past and its possible future.
